Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix was aware that she had a talent for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished in second place in the 200 meter event during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed her high school education and was signed to an agreement with Adidas. In the year 2004, she was enrolled at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. She set an Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world for the distance of 200 meters. She won the title in 2007. defended the title against her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked within the top three athletes in each of her events.
