Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4, 1981 is an American actor. Her most famous work is her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful This Is Where I Leave You as well as in the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. Her current role is Amantha Holden on the Sundance Channel show, a drama called Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in both television and film. She rose to fame with her roles in the drama show Rectify. Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera that was filmed in Gulf Breeze Florida. For her work she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. Following that she was mostly a guest on characters on a variety of TV shows. In the series Hawthorne the actress was widely acknowledged for her character of the role of Dr. Erin Jameson. Slowly with the help of her dazzling looks and amazing acting abilities, she was able to grow a huge fan of her. In the year she turned twenty years old, her debut film role was in Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film where she was a part of. The role she played in Beautiful Now was recognized with the Madrid International Film Festival Award. She played Lucy Preston the history professor in Timeless. Spencer has been nominated for the Teen Choice Award after her performance in the series was praised by critics.
